A bad wheel sensor will(and other things) pop both lights. An erratic sensor will pop both or just one or the other. ABS will pop when one tire is stopping/ locking up. Traction will pop when one tire is going faster than the others. Need the codes. Winter is bad because of slick spots.

Hi Bill Kelly, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box?
Codes?
I had a Volvo with the same problem. Codes indicated a faulty wheel sensor. But a common problem is found in the ABS module. These fail after years of service.Vibration causes solder connection on board to crack. Dealer replacement around $1000 to replace. You can find rebuilt ones online. Sends one out with tool for 10% of dealer cost. You replace module and send tool an bad module to him.
My TC and ABS lights come on together when i start out and turn the steering wheel. I can restart and sometimes it will not happen again for a week or more. other times i can't get it out. I have to be the steering wheel and touching the brakes at the same time. Phil D.
