I have a 96 Ford windstar I just bought a new computer and it still won't start up it cranks but wont catch is there something else that can be the problem

Won't start how ? When you turn the key to start does the starter engage the engine an spin the engine ? Crank - no - start or a no crank - no start ?

could be coil or possibly the crank sensor

Doesn't want to turn over, or doesnt want to run even though it turns over? If it turns over but just wont "catch", then you most likely have a problem with your anti bleed back valve in you fuel injection system. The system isn't holding the proper fuel pressure for a warm start.

Make sure you have power at the fans first.

This happened to to me with my ranger. I went and bought in ignition and a junk yard and no problems after that. That way your not out of a lot of money.

Why did you need a new battery? Does the engine crank?

for a 96 ford windstar you have some fuses under the hood you might wanna also have the starter checked if it is just sitting there cranking

check and clean the BATTERY POLES ,looks like there not enough power goin to the starter , hope it helps , AJ
