Either the dealership should be able to order you a new part, or a salvage yard should be able to sell you a used part, if they have the part available.

If the glove box was closed wrong than the latch that keeps the glove box shut will close on itself. If you take a pen or a screwdriver and put little pressure on it and try the handle again it should open. if thats not the case than replace the handle, the locking mechanism with in the handle or the spring broke or came apart.
with a small flat head screw drive. pull the glove box latch and there will be a goldish small piece of metal behind glove box latch. remove the small gold metal piece ( you will have to break it out) and your glove box will open. the new latch will cost about 25-35 dollars. <!-- from fixya rte -->
Hi, how are you?From what you are describing the latch on the inside sounds like it has broken and is not releasing.You can try to lay on the floor and look up in the bottom of the back of the glove box there are two tabs one on each side.If you push these tabs inward the bottom of the box should come free and help the top to come free.If you cannot see the tabs or can’t get the tabs pushed in, you are going to have to force it open, you can do this with a flat pry bar, wrap the end with a cloth to protect the paint.The good news is that the glove box latch is pretty cheap to replace.
hello first thing to check is were the box mounts at the bottom of the door hinge assembly undo the screws you should be able to lift the door enough to release the lock inside goodluck
