Recently got a new battery for my 5 yr. old Tribute and now my FM radio won't work. CD Player and AM radio fine. I have checked all of the fuses.

the only fix is to send out the radio and have it repaired this is assuming there is a cd in the player it will not select cd if there is no cd in the unit again assuming a factory unit

FM Radio quit working

The only way to get the car out of transport mode is for the dealer to plug the car in to the main diagnostic terminal and download the software to activate all of the control modules. This has to be done to all new cars arriving from the factory.
As your car is a 1994 this reason is highly unlikely for the radio to off stopped working.
It sounds to me that the actual radio tuner has given up, in short you may need a new radio.

did you pull the radio out? it might just be a loose wire or something simple.. the car is 10 years old stuff becomes loose
