First thing is to find the leak. This fix could be a $10 DIY or over $1000 head job. You will have to get under the car to see water leak lines.
Clearly his car, not the house.
See my comments to the question - leak couold be AC condensate or rain making its way slowly through clogged windshield drain plugs. No problems either way.
Good grief, what kind of water leak? In your car radiator? In the house from a copper pipe? Or a toilet, a sink, a faucet? All these leaks require different fixes. Let us know where the leak is from. Then we'll have a better chance of giving you the correct advice.
I will tell you this, if the leak is from a "pin hole" in a copper pipe in your house you need to get a water testing kit to see if you have acidic water eating away your copper pipes. If so you need to replace the copper pipe and then get an acid neutralizer ASAP. If you do not get an acid neutralizer all of your copper pipes will be leaking since the acidic water has been eating away at all your pipes.

Where is leak comming from?
Are you sure it is not AC condensate?
Also, check that drain plugs near windshield wiper motors are clear - they often get clogged with leaves in fall and tree pollen in spring. Could be just a slow leak of rainwater.
I do have a water leak. It's under the sink in my kids' bathroom. I found it because two of my kids were turning the water on and watching it drip faster. It would probably be good for the both of us to find a plumber who can take a look at it and fix the problem.http://bodenplumbing.net/services
