Okay....since the engine size is not posted, please pick the correct one that is your engine. There will be a bunch of diagrams so pick the appropriate one:

2.4L Engine Firing order: 1-3-4-2 Distributor rotation: Counterclockwise

3.0L Engines without DIS Firing order: 1-2-3-4-5-6 Distributor rotation: Counterclockwise

FIRING ORDER IS 1 2 3 4 5 6 STANDING IN FRONT VECHICLE CYLINDERS TO THE LEFT SIDE ENGINE FACING YOU ARE 1 3 5 CYLINDERS ON THE RIGHT SIDE FACING YOU IS 2 4 6. NOW DRAW A LARGE CIRCLE TOP OF CIRCLE WRITE NUMBER 1 BOTTOM OF CIRCLE WRITE NUMBER 4 ON LEFT SIDE CIRCLE UNDER NUMBER1 WRITE NUMBERS IS 2 AND 3 ON THE RIGHT SIDE CIRCLE BELOW NUMBER 1 WRITE NUMBER 6 AND 5 THAT CIRCLE YOU DREW IS YOUR DISTRIBUTOR PLUGS LOCATION NOW YOU CAN PLACE PLUGS WIRES FROM DISTRIBUTOR TO THE RIGHT SPARK PLUGS LOCATION TO THE CYLINDER BLOCK.LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKS OUT.

It should be found at the bottom hose that goes to the bottom of the radiator and located towards the engine block. You should be able to see a plug and wires coming out of it.

Would recommend a complete tuneup. Check the air filter first, then visble vaccum lines.

should be a good place to start, if condition don't improve call in a trans tech

pleneme(sorry for spelling) needs to be removed . one mechanic wants $800 to do and added that he needs to remove valve covers and may need to replace vavle gaskets. other shop said 350 no mention of valve covers.still have not had it done, will update when i rob a bank. ps believe my engine is a 3.0.

check the signal voltage going to afected coil harness, should be geting 12v. if its 0, the you may have a broken wire or pin on jack for that coil assembly

you should see the plug wires...all you have to do is trace them to the motor and change them one at a time, they are usually either black or red and there should be 6 of them there are 3 on each side of the motor
