It does not have an orifice tube. It has an expansion vlave. You will find it near the vacuum booster on the firewall. Once the a/c lines are disconnected where they go through the firewall you will be able to replace it.

How to replace expansion valve in BMW 525i

I think these don't use a traditional expansion valve, but rather an "orifice tube", located in the high pressure line junction near firewall going to evap unit.

Where is the a/c orfice and canaster located?

the A/C expansion valve (orfice) is right next to the evaporator
in fact that is what causes the Freon to change from liquid to gas.
and must be there.
the Canister, (the receiver /dryer ) is usually near the condensor. end .
you can see the line clear, open hood, see the 2 compressor lines
the 2 fire wall line(hoses/pipes)
see the 2 condensor lines.
the dryer is on the line to the condensor. just follow it, and bingo. thar she be....

Location of a/c expansion vavle on 2000monte carlo

The expansion valve will be on the line for the high side of the system and if you look real close the line will have a dimple in the line and that is where the valve is. If I was you I would start checking at the condenser and if not there check just before it goes into the evap. However, it will be in the high pressure line for sure.

Where is the expansion valve located on the 2004 KIA Sedona

Kia Sedona expansion FRONT valve located under dash, behind glove box, fan and coil. Evacuate freon first. Disconnect Freon lines from firewall., Lay right front seat back to flat horizontal position and lay on top or totally remove the seat for easier working access. Remove under dash cover, fan, glove box, coil housing, remove coil mounting bolts, remove old expansion valve. (Inspect old valve, if debris inside, blow out coil before installing new valve. If visible debris best to consider replacing REAR expansion valve and DRIER/FILTER in front of radiator too and blow out all lines and coils while servicing.) Use compressor oil to lubricate "O" rings on new FRONT or REAR expansion valve, install valve bolts, reinstall coil bolts to FRONT firewall or REAR frame, reconnect freon lines to firewall in engine compartment. Evacuate AC system, install freon (35 1/2 ounces, nominal 3 pounds), check system for leaks, check for proper operation, enjoy.

Location of expansion valve

Expansion valve is located passenger dash area , inside the evaporator housing. This is not a repair that can be easily done by a home "do it yourselfer".It requires evacuating the the air condition system of freon is the biggest obsticle doing at home. Rec. taking to a certified a/c repair shop for this repair.
