2003 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.5L V6 Changed the front Brakes, Drove it,then ABS started acting up.(making the brrrr noise and releasing the brakes)so now the ABS light is on along with TCS light and a green 4 Wheels light is blinking. So I replaced the rear rotors and pads but still the same lights ! HELP !!
Re: 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe ABS light is on along with TCS...
I have the same model and year of vehicle, with the same warning lights. I just had it scanned and it is throwing the codes C1201 & C1275, which are for an abnormal speed wheel sensor signal and a rusted or cracked tone wheel. Each wheel has a tone wheel and sensor, and if one is corroded or cracked, it will cause your warning lights to illuminate.

This can mean one of a few things.First, make sure your parking brake is fully released and not even slightly engaged.Next, check your brake fluid level.A low level will trigger a brake light.which this is probably your concern. Finally, your abs(if equipped) could be failing.More than likely it is simple enough as a low fluid problem.Have all four corners checked to make sure all your brakes are up to par and you should be ok.Hope I could help.Rate me accordingly. Thanks!!
I just replaced rotors on my 2003 Santa Fe, There are 2 phillips screws in the rotor that must be removed. There is an auto adjuster on bottom of brakes. That inspection hole is very small! Sometimes you must tap a hammer around the drum to loosen the rust. Hope this helps.
