2008 Kia Optima shuts off while driving

There is very likely a code being retained in the engine computer. If you are able go to your friendly auto parts store and ask for a complimentary scan for OBDII codes. Most Auto Parts stores will provide this service at no cost. From the scan you will be able with the advice from the parts store determine the most likely culprit for the stalling.

This is the best method for troubleshooting a 2008 vehicall.

Hope this helps?

The car stalls while driving and takes 15-20 min. to start

Could be fuel problem, electrical problem or cooling system problem. 1st thing you should do is get the trouble code from the computer. Most Auto Parts stores can retrieve the code for you. Troubleshooting is easier with a direction to go in.

The oil lights keeps coming on, now the eningine

If the car is running well & still has these "dummy" lights still coming on, chances are you have what I call an electrical "gremlin" & there's nothing to fear & nothing to be done other than listening & looking for issues as they happen as the "dummy" lights are rendered useless or unreliable. The electrical systems of VWs are notorious for "gremlins" & in my own experience were super quirky when we lived near the ocean & bays (salt water). If you have money to burn, you can bring it to a VW dealer or a mechanic that specializes in VWs to have them run through your car's electrical system & see if they can get it working correctly again, but in my opinion, the car is 15 years old & is most likely going to keep having these electrical quirks no matter how much time & money you sink into it. Good luck!
