My 2002 cadillac deville, 200,000 miles + stalls when i take my foot off the gas or stop. I changed the gas filter but no help, any ideas and or suggestions what it might be?i

You need to replace your fuel level sensor. But previous post is right, if you're comfortable running based on fuel remaining and kilometers, don't sweat it. If you're keen, the fuel level sensor can be accessed from the trunk (under the liner on the passenger side, beneath the silver panel).
Replace the fuel filter. The new gasolines with ethanol tend to lloosen any crud in the gas tank, which then plugs the filter. When the engine stalls, the crud falls away, and it will run again until it plugs up again.
