Why my BMW 320d engine would not stop when stop button is pressed.

Engine would not stop running when the start/stop button is pressed. It will stop when the clutch is pressed

    I thank you for your interest, however it was not like that when I bought it new. I only press the clutch when I turn the engine on. Thank you once again

My BMW 320d stopped running while I was driving and now it cranks but does not start

water in the fuel pump open the drain plug on the bottom of the pump.to drain it .then close it .now pump up the pump as hard as it will go .get someone to turn over the engine as you keep pumping .

Re-setting service interval

1. Switch ignition OFF.
2. Press and hold button "A" - fig. 1 or fig. 2.
3. Turn ignition key to position "I".
4. After 5 seconds the words "OIL SERVICE" or "INSPECTION" are shown together with the message "reset" or "re".
5. Release button "A". Press and hold button "A". After a futher 5 seconds the message "reset" starts to flash.
6. Release button "A". Press and release button "A" again.
7. The new service interval is now displayed.
8. Press and release button "A". The message "END SIA" is now displayed.
8. Switch ignition OFF.

Using the indicator stalk, navigate to the tyre pressure reset option, press the reset button twice in short succession but hold it in the second time until a tick appears on the display
