SOURCE: My ignition key slid into a hole beneath the front

There are two screws that hold in the plastic cover on the cover on the top underside. remove these two screws and gently pry the plastic cover away. There are four screws that hold the stereo in place that will be accessible after you remove the cover. reassemble in reverse order.

SOURCE: how to remove Cadillac srx center console

Open the lid fully, you should see small hold down bolt heads, maybe 7 mm...these must come completely out, be sure to label as length etc is important. There are also 2 front connectors to the lower dash, but depending on your need to remove, you may not need to remove these...you probably need to remove the gear shift knob to raise the console...look directly under the knob...sometimes a small pull out clip to release the knob, sometimes a allen head screw to release...hope this helps.

I have lost a diamond ring between the drivers seat and the center console. Can not find at all. Need to remove the console and look for ring and then replace the console again. Thank you

try taking a magnetic retrieving tool, you can buy these at your local auto part stores, they have a magnet on the opposite end of the tool, then insert the tool between the console , and hoping that it will pick up the ring, and it should come out of the area , of where it is. then you won't have to remove the console.

Remove the door that covers cup holder in the center console of a 2007 hyundai sonata

I dropped a card in between there a few months ago and had to retrieve it. Don't waste your time trying to fish it out..it's almost impossible and very time consuming. All you have to do is pull the rubber out from around the shifter and pry the entire plastic covering up. Be as gentle as possible. It should pop right off. Make sure the pull on the E brake so that you can remove the cover, as well. Hope it works for ya!
