Depends on the radio.
General idea is this:
turn radio power off on face of radio. Clock should show.
push button such as SET / CLOCK / TIME
push other button HOUR MIN up down seek scan ff rew (one button will control hour other button will control minute)
turn radio power back on. clock should remain set.
The radio has to be turned on, then press the button the looks like an almost full circle with a dot in the middle. Then you can see which of the 1-6 radio buttons to push to set the time. Or check your owner's manual.
This worked on my 04 CTS. This is a CTS without the GPS.
1) Turn key to On or Accy
2) Wait for the radio/clock display to load up.
3) Push the Tune/Select button at the lower right of the radio display. Nothing will appear to change.
4) There is a button to the right of the radio diplay with two horizontal lines on it. Push the lower of the two horizontal lines. The clock set option should appear.
5) Turn the Tune/Select button until the time is correct.
6) Push the Tune/Select button to lock the time in.
Without Radio Data Systems (RDS):
To set the hour, press the clock button. The clock symbol will appear on the display and the hour number will flash. Then turn the ADJ knob to increase or todecrease. To set the minutes, press the clock button again. The minute numbers will flash. Then turn the ADJ knob to increase or to decrease. The time can be set with the ignition on or off.
Same as without RDS unless you want to Sync. with a radio station. To synchronize the time with an FM station broadcasting Radio Data System (RDS) information, press and hold the clock button to enter the clock set mode, then press and hold the clock button for three seconds until UPDATED appears on the display. If the time is not available from the station, NO UPDATE will appear on the display. RDS time is broadcast once a minute. After tuning to an RDS broadcast station, it may take a few minutes for the time to update
For the clock:
Turn the radio on
Push and hold in the clock button
And push the seek button (left) for hours
And push the seek button (right) for minutes
There is no AM or PM
For the radio:
Find a radio station on the radio
Push one of the selector buttons on the radio and hold it down
for about 10 seconds and release
That's all it takes
You should have 5 buttons for AM
And 5 buttons for FM-1
And 5 buttons for FM-2
Ok your unlock code is going to be 1718. Here is how to unlock this radio.
Press the HR button until the LOC disappears and OOO appears on the display.
Set the first two digits (01-19) of the code with HR (hours) button.
Note: As if you're setting the time of day you will not see the 0 in the far left side. Example; if the first two digits of your code is 02 you will scroll with the HR button until 2 appears on the display.)
Set the next two digits (00-99) of the code with the MIN (minute) button.
Press the AM-FM button to enter the code. The radio will now be unlocked and the display will change to the clock.
There are three buttons, let's call them 1, 2, and 3, from left to right.

Did you read your owners manual? Not sure what kind of radio it has, but most of the ford radios from this era work like this: Hold down the clock button then ussually if you push seek down it will advance the hours, and if you push seek up it will advance the minutes.
