If it's the 3.1 or the newer 3100 the starter should just be a couple 13 and 15mm bolts. Plus the nut for the cable. Hope this helps.

Is the turn signal bulb and tail light bulb the same on 96 buick century and how do i replace it?

its the same bulb but a different filament in the bulb.open the trunk and you may have to move the trunk rug out of the way and you should see about what looks like 6 wing nuts that have to be removed then pulled out the tailight assembly to change the bulb.

96 cadillac eldorodos starter is positioned in a place i cant figure how to change it. anyone know the method.

You will need to remove the intake and all components atatched to be able to change the starter. If you do not have good shop expirence or a mechanical backround I do not suggest you change it.Sorry but it is in a difficult place and a lot of critical items will need to be removed.

Hi, I have a 96 buick century,if i dont use it battery goes dead

The radio in my 1996 Buick century had a clock light that did not go off when the car was shut off, so the battery would go dead after 2 days. Disconnected the radio and all was well. Getting ready for a new radio now.

Can i swap a 3.1 96 century, for a 3.1 96 grand prix?

Everything should go easy as a swap, the only thing your going to have to do is change the Oil and temperature sensors. Always good to have new sensors installed just to make life easy. The other thing to is to pay attention to the accessory unit's like the power steering pump and alternator, but i think there all about the same. Good luck and hope this helps, keep me posted. be glad to help
