Hi there!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your car, hopefully i can shed some light on it for you!

P2177 - System Too Lean At Off Idle Right Bank
P2187 - System Too Lean at Idle (Bank 1)
P2188 - System Too Rich At Idle Bank 1
P2195 - O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Lean (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

LEAN and RICH are the technical terms indicating that the car is giving itself to much and to little fuel, unfortunately There is a laundry list of components that could cause this scenario.

Faulty O2 sensor (front)
Faulty gas cap seal Leaky or loose oil filler cap
Air leaking into the intake manifold downstream from the Mass airflow sensor due to the manifold itself,
vacuum hoses off or cracked, leak MAP sensor,
Leak at turbo bypass or it's stuck open,
Leak in the EVAP system hoses.
Faulty MAP sensor EVAP canister purge valve
Fuel injector leak
Fuel pressure regulator faulty Leaks in the exhaust system
Faulty variable camshaft timing
Faulty ECM (engine management computer UNCOMMON)
Faulty O2 preheater (front) Clogged fuel filter
Fuel pump wearing out and producing low pressure.
Faulty mass air flow sensor

With this Mixture of codes it would probably be best to take the car to a shop you like/trust and have them pinpoint the faulty component or components. If you Like to do things yourself you could then to the repair yourself, having only paid for the shop to diagnose the problem and tell you which part needs replacement/repair.

Hopefully this information was helpful, let me know if you have any more questions.

2007 Hyundai Entourage codes P2187, PP0174,P2189,P2195,P2270,P2272

I've come across these codes before. In almost every case there was an air leak in the intake air hose (hose between the engine air filter & the throttle body). Inspect this hose & tubes attached to it. This is especially true when the lean code includes the comment 'at idle'
P2187 - System too lean at idle Bank 1
P0174 - System too lean Bank 2
P2189 - System too lean at idle Bank 2
P2195 = HO2S Signal Biased/Stuck Lean (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P2270 = HO2S Signal Stuck Lean (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P2272 = HO2S Signal Stuck Lean (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

P2187 & P2189 = In order to provide the best possible combination of drivability, fuel economy and emission control, the PCM uses a closed loop air/fuel metering system. The PCM monitors the HO2S signal voltage and adjusts fuel delivery based in closed loop fuel control. Changes in fuel delivery will be indicated by the long-term and the short-term fuel trim values. The ideal fuel trim value is around 0%. The PCM will add fuel when the HO2S signal is indicating a lean condition. Additional fuel is indicated by fuel trim values that are above 0%. The PCM will reduce fuel when the HO2S signal is indicating a rich condition. Reduction in fuel is indicated by fuel trim values that are below 0%. The DTC relevant to fuel trim will be set when the amount reaches excessive levels because of a lean or rich condition

I recently had problems with my 2005 Mazda MPV stalling. I came to this great site and changed the IAC and it stopped stalling. But 2 days later my check engine light came on. The codes are P2197 P2195...

The descriptions for your codes are:
P2197 - H02S (RF) signal stuck lean
P2195 - H02S (RF) signal stuck lean
P2187 - Fuel System too lean at idle
P0102 - MAF circuit low input

Essentially what's happening is that your MPV is running too lean when at idle. Too much air and not enough fuel. As you speed up - it forces more air into the system which alleviates the problem.

Examine your mass airflow sensor. It should be completely clean - no fuzzies on it at all. If so - purchase some mass airflow sensor cleaner to clean the sensor. ONLY USE THE PROPER CLEANER TO AVOID DAMAGING THE SENSOR. Disconnect the battery to reset the system and turn off check engine light.

Otherwise you will need a scan tool to look at the voltages being supplied to/from the PCM for each of the Heated Oxygen Sensors and the Mass Airflow Sensor to determine which part is creating the problem.

P2197 p2187 p2177 p2195 p2179 p2189

P2197 - Oxygen Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Lean Bank 2 Sensor 1
P2187 - System Too Lean At Idle Bank 1
P2177 - System Too Lean Off Idle Bank 1
P2195 - Oxygen Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Lean Bank 1 Sensor 1
P2179 - System Too Lean Off Idle Bank 2

I am not sure what your Mazda is, but from the sounds of it, both of your Oxygen Sensors are shot. Replace them both, or check for vacuum leaks. It may be a good time to inspect and replace the PCV Valve and PCV Valve hose, too.

Check engine light came on and is giving codes P0171,P0106,P0172,P2188, P2187. What do these mean?

check for a broken vacuum hose or vacuum fitting(s). you can use a can of spray carb cleaner. while running the engine use the spray to test hoses and fittings. give a little squirt to suspected areas. The idle speed will change when you find a vacuum leak. pay particular attention to the hose to the MAP sensor. There may be a problem with the elelctrical connection to the map sensor, or the sensor itself may be bad.

What does code p2189 and p2187 mean on kia sadona 2006 inspection rejected

code p2189 and p2187 = air/fuel mixture too lean on both cylinder banks which in turn generates excessive emissions = failed inspection.
What can cause a lean mixture:
- Incorrect main charge signal
- Intake air system leaking
- Fuel pressure too low
- Volume supply of fuel pump too low
- Mechanical fault in injectors
- PCV valve leaks
- Leaks in exhaust system
- EVAP canister purge valve mechanically faulty (hangs open)
All these must be checked.
