Thanks Thomas Perkins but that's not what I asked for help with. I found that video too. I need help with THE SIDE MARKER BULBS. Not parking lights. Anybody can change parking light bulbs. The side markers are in the two front quarter panels between the front tire and front door.

SOURCE: 2002 mitsubishi lancer oz rally troubleshooting

Code p0420 is 'catalyst efficiency below threshold'.

This could be caused by a bad catalytic converter but before dumping a ton of money on that I would suspect the after-cat oxygen sensor is getting lazy and setting the code.

Have the O2 sensors checked and replace if needed before suspecting the catalytic converter.

Good luck.

I put in about half a centimeter too much oil in 2002 lancer oz rally. is this going to be a problem?

90 percent chance no. I would still take the five minutes and drain some from the pan. Won't even have to take the plug all the way out for the little bit.

I have a 2002 mitsubishi lancer oz rally edition and need to remove the headligh assembly..how do i do this

In some vehicles you have to remove the headlight assembly and other parts to access the headlight itself, but in the Lancer you do not need to mess with any other car parts except those on the assembly. The assembly is a composite system, meaning if the low or high beam lights fail you can replace it without having to replace the entire assembly.
