Question about Cars & Trucks
Without knowing what the hoses go to, this is a guess.
If there is no vac on the ports at idle, they usually go to the Evap system and the smog pump or EGR valve.
There may be partial vac on those ports at 2000 RPM.

There is vac at idle. wen hooked up it lowers the idle and misses acts like it wants to die or does die so i unhooked them and it solves it. Just wonderng how important they are . Thanks
My guess is they go to the MAP sensor and the EGR control. If one line goes to the MAP sensor disconnecting the line should turn the check engine light on. Pulling the lines off allows extra air into the intake so you could have rich injectors or some other fuel problem.
