Sorry no reset button ! You will need to do some electrical testing to find out what the problem is . You can go to www.bbbind.com for free wiring diagrams .On there home page click on technical information , five boxes will pop up , click on All TSB's and diagrams for every make and model - FREE , The next page go to the bottom an click I agree . On the next page click on wiring diagrams ,then enter your vehicle info , year ,make , model an engine size ! Then under system -engine ,subsystem fuel controls . then search , click on the blue links one at a time . Do you know how to read a wiring diagram ? If you hear the fuel pump humming it's probably not the fuel system ! Do you know how to check for spark at a spark plug ? Do you know what spark is an where to find it ? I know that a ASD relay not working will cause a no spark condition , because it supplies Battery voltage to the ignition system . No Start Diagnostic Basics EricTheCarGuy

Having problems getting the engine to start when we try to turn over the key!

If you pushed the fuel reset button when you didn't need to, it may now be in the off position. Sometimes they don.t pop back out. First I would turn the key on to accessories off and on for three second intervals. and listen for the fuel pump to hum. You may have to get someone to listen near the tank.Turn key on than off. If you do not hear the hum, check the fuse for the fuel system. It may say fuel pump on the back of the cover. Check and replace if needed. If it's ok,or you do replace it, and still no humming in the fuel pump, chances are that the pump is infact bad. Be sure your fuel reset is back in the reset position, they can be a headache at times. If this doesn't seem to work, I would next say a plugged filter, [ only if pump is humming ] Fords can be funny like that. You could also bring car into a shop and have a fuel pressure test, but if you're like me, you like to save $$$. Good luck, let me know how you make out. Please rate my solution.

The car has been seemingly acting as if it is out of gas. I think its the fuel filter. But today it cut off all together. It will still turn over but will not crank. She my daughter said it also smoked a...

more than likely a clogged fuel filter[hopefully] if not that lets try this before you do anything.turn your key to the 'on' position can you hear a slight hum coming from the fuel pump in the gas tank under the rear of your car. it may take 2 people. one to turn the key on and one to listen at the rear of the car.try this several times to see if you hear the hum. if you hear the hum,the fuel pumps working. and then you know it's most likely a clogged fuel filter.if no hum heard,go under your hood to the main engine fuse box[black box] take the cover off of it. on the underside of lid, look for fuel pump relay, replace that relay with new one.if it's a fuse, replace the fuse. if this does'nt repair your problem, the fuel pump has went bad and in need of replacement.the pump is located inside the gas tank. the gas tank will have to come down and out in order to replace the bad fuel pump.try these solutions to see if they help,if you need further assistance, please repost your question to fixya.com and thank you for choosing fixya.com wish you the very best of luck!

NOT GETTING FUEL . ALREADY CHANGED FUEL FILTER

This truck uses an electric fuel pump, it is located inside the fuel tank, if it is working you can hear it hum for about 1 second when the key is turned to run (not cranking engine), if you have trouble hearing it take off the gas cap and listen for the fuel pump hum, if you don't hear it you most likely need to have it replaced.

I have a 1991 hyundai scoupe it's not getting fuel. We replaced the fuel filter didn't help, what next?

under hood look for main fuse box, open box under lid you should see location of fuel pump relay, check the fuel pump relay. if not that, the fuel pump is next. when you turn the key to the on position,do you hear a humming sound for about 10 seconds from under the car? it may take 2 people but try turning the key on for 10seconds and have someone listen under drivers door for that humming, try it about 5 times. not hearing humming?either it is a bad fuel pump relay,or a bad fuel pump. thank you for choosing fixya.com

My car wont get fuel to the throttle body

Questions for you. Is the fuel pump working? When you turn the key(just not enough to turn the starter), do you hear the fuel pump? Should be like a buzzing noise for about 10 to 15 seconds. When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? They do get clogged and will halt the flow of fuel. That's all I can say with what you typed.

While i was driving the car acted like it wasn't getting gas and then stalled and now won't start 2004 grand am

sounds like the fuel pump went out. It is located inside the tank. turn the key but dont start and have someone listen for a 1 to 2 second hum by the gas tank. If they hear nothing then your pump is bad. REplace your fuel filter first, it is outside the tank and could be clogged. YOu could get lucky, but I bet your pump is bad.
