Indicates problem with cooling fans, should be two fans on that vehicle, the fan closest to passenger side is the a/c fan. If you turn your a/c on that fan should come on, the other fan is supposed to turn on when the engine reaches around 195 to 205 degrees.varies vehicle to vehicle, when your temp guage is halfway that fan should come on. Its most likely a problem with the fan relay.

How do you replace cooling fan relay on 2005 voltswagon jetta

Located under hood just below the coolant reservoir. remove nut and ground (not required but makes removal easier). remove the 2 bolts. pull the relay down and remove 2 plugs from the bottom of the relay.

05568 mil request signal active check tcm for error. P1624 not a plausible signal

First off, let's simply define the OBD-II Trouble Codes:
Yes, 18032/P1624/005668 are the three codes that indicate "MIL Request Signal Active."
So, what does THAT mean (in plain English)??? This means that Fault Codes are stored in the TCM. SO WHAT'S THE SOLUTION?

How do I fix or replace the problem when i get the reading of p0480 ans p0481 for my 2006 jetta

If im wright those are codes for cooling fan speed1 and 2 error, so there is something wrong with cooling fan. Thry to clean it of dust or see if anything is touching/slowing tha fan... And thry to unplug it and connect directly to see if it works at all?!

When should both coolant fans turn on? 2005 vw jetta

The fan may not be the problem. It could be a few things not turning the fan on. It is hard to say how much this is going to cost. The error code that you have P0480 is Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit Malfunction. So some component in that circuit is causing the fan to not come on. I hope this helps you.

I have a service engine soon light and the code that appeared when check is 1481, do you know what this means?

Service Engine Soon (SES) or Check Engine Light On, DTC P0480, P0526/P1481/P1484 Set (Replace Engine Cooling Fan Wiring Harness) #05-06-02-012B - (10/19/2006)

Models:2004-2006 Buick Rainier
2002-2006 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, TrailBlazer EXT
2002-2006 GMC Envoy, Envoy XL,

Some customers may comment that the Service Engine Soon (SES) or Check Engine light is illuminated. This condition may be intermittent and upon investigation, the technician may find either DTC P0480, P0526, P1481 or P1484 set.

This condition may be caused by the cooling fan harness chaffing against the plastic guide it routes through. This contact may damage the insulation of the wires enclosed in that harness.

Replace the wire harness:
Part Number 89024920 Description Harness Assembly, Engine Cooling Fan Wiring

Good luck and keep me posed.

Check engine light error code 480

P0480 Cooling Fan I Control Circuit Malfunction
-----------------------------

Chrysler has issued a TSB (#18-004-07)containing the fix for an inoperative cooling fan on 2005-06 Caravans and Town & Country vans with the 3.3L or 3.8L engines. The problem usually occurs after driving in heavy snow conditions where snow and ice form at the bottom of the fan shroud and block the fan blade. This condition also sets a P0480 code in the PCM. The fix requires a PCM reflash. If you have an inoperative cooling fan or a P0480 code, check the version label attached to the PCM. If a software update has not been performed since this TSB’s issue date of January 24, 2007, you should have the update performed before you start replacing any parts.
