this can mean a few things depending on if there is a circle around it or if any other symbol is on, if you only have a exclamation symbol then it means you have a low tire check the tire pressures , good day
There are two symbols with an exclamation mark. The first is a oblong circle with the exclamation mark inside with ( ) on each side of the oblong circle. That symbol is for brake system warning light. Check brake fluid level, check brake pads. The other symbol is (!) and is flat on the bottom its suppose to resemble a tire, it means there is a problem with the tire monitor system, check your tire pressure, if you have low tires you will have to drive car after servicing the tires then the light should go out. Tire pressure should be on a placard on the driver door or door frame.
From your description, that sounds like the tire pressure monitoring system. This feature counts the tire revolutions, and if low pressure is present in a tire, the revolutions are greater than normal, resulting in the indicator light illuminating. Check all 4 tires for pressure, one is probably a bit low. I have one vehicle (Honda) w/ this feature, if a tire is about 5 lbs low in pressure, that is enough to kick the light on.
It is the Tire Pressure Mounted System (TPMS). It monitors the air pressure in your tires. If it is on, you have low tire pressure...or like me, it's just a faulty indicator. Mine came on, but I don't even have TPMS on my vehicle.
if the blinking light looks a cross section of a tire with a exclamation mark in it almost like this (_!_) it is just about the only one that blinks. its tire pressure light chk your air in all tires
