The heater for my Tucson 2006 is not working. When I put it on, it always blows cold air. The blower works perfectly, only issue is that no hot air coming through.
I have checked the Coolant/Filter, everything seems fine.
I need to get this fixed as winter is coming in Canada.
Any advise on what could be wrong??
Make sure that the cooling system is filled to the top and there are no air pockets.. If low add water and see what happens. If still no heat, the valve that controls the flow of water into the heater core is not letting water in. Either it is stuck closed, or the linkage that adjusts it is not working.

If the heater is blowing cold air and the car is overheating, it is likely that the problem is related to the engine cooling system as well. The following are some issues that may be causing the heater to blow cold air:
Low coolant levels
A plugged/clogged heater core
A faulty thermostat (thermostat that is stuck)
Broken blower and/or blower motor
Heater core bypass hoses that have leaks
Heater core bypass hoses that are worn
If your car is overheating and/or your heater is not working, it should be inspected and diagnosed as soon as possible.

If the blower is blowing air just fine, but you cannot control the temperature, you need to listen to air coming from the vents while turning the temperature from hot to cold. If you do n ot hear any change in airflow, then you may a temperature door in the dash broken. this is becoming a common problem on the Equinox
It sounds like you have a blend air door stuck. This is in the housing of the heater a/c blower unit under the passenger side of the dash. There is a motor on the top of the housing that could possibly be stuck or on working.
