SOURCE: 92 Dodge Dakota fuel pump

THATS 100% Right!!!!There pretty easy to change.Be careful removing top lies do to rust and various other problems.Dont bend them I'm sure you know the drill. As far as the filler neck try and loosen it at the tank which is probably where your leak is coming from. After you get clamp off there another tube thats inside there, the big filler hose for your venting while filling it up.Be sure not to wreck it>When you undo the hose you'll have to work a little bit getting it of but pull it all the way out so you dont damage the venting hose inside of the filler hose.Thats it.Good luck to you and remember take your time and it should work out great for ya.Thanks for asking...

I have 2002 Lincoln ls that is leaking gas from the top of gas tank by fuel pump I've replaced the fuel pump could it be a bad gas line when I go to fill up with gas some of it runs out as I am pumpin

Does the pump have wick disconnects that required a tool to remove them? There are orings in those as well as a large oring sealing the pump to the tank. Make sure the connectors click when you replace them. The pump should activate with the key on. " not started", you should be able to see if the lines are leaking or if it just your fuel fill overflow hose leading to the fill door alongside the large full hose.

Why does my svt contour gas tank overflow into the parking lot when filling up.

There are two hoses running from the filler neck. Either of them could be leaking from the top. There is also a seal on the top of the tank where the fuel pump is that can leak. If your car leaks the whole time you are putting fuel in, I would suspect the hoses. If it only leaks when you get it full, then check the seal on the top of the tank. The top of the tank can be seen without dropping the tank. Remove your back seat and you will see a cover over the fuel pump. Remove that cover and you can see the top of the tank.

Van is losing water but the overflows continues to stay full. No cracks in radiator and the cap where you put in the water has a hose going in but no hose on the opposite opening.

In a properly working system, the coolant expands as the coolant temp rises. The excess coolant flows into the overflow container by the hose that runs from the bottom of the overflow to the top of the radiator, under the radiator cap. When the coolant begins to cool down, it contracts, drawing fluid back into the radiator from the overflow. The water pump has a "weep" hole located near the bottom of the pump housing that will leak coolant if the pump is going bad. In some engines, the 3.0, the water pump is located under the camshaft timing belt cover, and is a BEAR to deal with. However, the coolant should be pulled into the radiator when the engine cools, so check that the hose from the top of the radiator is attached to the bottom of the overflow and that it is not blocked or pinched. Have the system pressure tested to verify that it has no leaks. Hope this helps. Dano

Leaking radiator from engine cooling line on top of radiator. is there any way to re-seal?

Are you talking about the 2 inch water hose at the top ,or the overflow line about 1 half inch coming out of the radiator cap. If it is leaking from the radiator, replace the radiator, if it is coming out of the overflow, replace the radiator cap. If it is coming out of the top radiator hose then replace the hose

97 cadillac eldorado overflowing through overflow pipe

The most common overheating problem with the Northstar engine is a blocked purge line. It's job is to purge air out of the cooling system.
There is a small diameter hose coming from near the top of the coolant tank(not the cap),this is the purge line.
With the engine idling, pull the purge line from the tank,if there is no coolant flow from this small hose,it is blocked and this will cause overheating. If the hose is clear, check for blockage at the nipple on the tank.Or trace the hose back until you find the blockage. The hose goes in to the engine to a crossover and comes out the other side to near the thermostat housing, the blockage may be there.

I have a 1991 Toyota Corolla and I don't know what is wrong with my fuel hose, it leaks when I make a right, and when I fill the tank to a point. And I can't locate the problem, all there is, is a stench...

you need to get your car to a car shop so they can put it on a lift to see what is wrong. fuel leak can be very dangerous.
there is a fuel pump gasket on the top of the tank
there is a filler hose goes to the side of the tank
there are a pressure hose and a return hose go to the top of the tank
there are evaporation hoses on top of the tank as well.
rubber hoses are getting old and crack easily
so there are many possibiltities that can cause leak
