Toyota hilux Diesel 2.41988 LN65

On my injector pump is fitted a vacuum unit a vacuum pipe is fitted to a vacuum switch 084600-3260 nipondenso., and from the v/s there is another vacuum pipe going to the end of the alternator. Two wires go from the vacuum switch one is an earth the other one goes to the Air Conditioning unit and in to the wiring loom looks like in to the fuse box unit. No fuel pipe goes in to the vacuum unit that is fixed on to the injector pump and no other vacuum unit is on any part of the fuel system. A brake vacuum unit yes. Cheers Julia

The vacuum pipe to the alternator is connected to the vacuum pump on the alternator to get vacuum for the brake booster
the wires will be to put the low vacuum light on in the dash
as to the vacuum line to the pump , you may have a vacuum operated governor control for the fuel pump
best to ask an accredited diesel shop or check the workshop manual which will explain the operation on the pump

check the feed on the back of the alternator (live), then check the engine earth if the truck has been lifted or raised the earth will be poor. try running an earth fron the exhaust studs to a chassis member.

I do have a D4D 2kd 2006 Hilux Vigo and I just installed serviced injectors and couldn't start.

a D4D diesel engine in a TOYOTA HILUX
well all filters good (air and fuel)
all diesel fuel lines purged of air and at spec pressure
good fuel pumps.
glow plugs not dead,(all)
get the service manual and it covers injector changes steps.
fuse good? to pumps. (lift pumps etc) many pumps can not pump air so must be primed.

diesel pump
follow the pipes from injector that will lead you to fuel pump.
you will have to take fuel line off from injector so it make it easy to remove them from pump...

Black smoke had new injectors and new pump toyota ln65 1988

It sounds like it is the fuel pressure regulator.It is a round disc looking object that screws into the fuel rail.The fuel intake line runs to it supplying the fuel and there is a vacuum line going to it also.It controls the fuel pressure by means of the vacuum line.it should look like the attatched pic. try replacing this im pretty sure this will fix your problem.

Hw can i fix toyota hilux d4d 3000,2006 model cannot rev over 1500 revs

There are alot of factors that could prevent the engine from revving over 1500RPM. Some sensors like the crank angle or cam angle have to be connected in order for the engine to even start, other wiring loom plugs like the turbo controller need to be connected or the car goes into limp mode and it won't rev past a certain point.

Then there are the automatic throttle controller area wiring loom type plugs near the inter cooler, sometimes people forget to put them all back and the engine won't rev high. Making sure the vacuum pipes in this area are all connected properly, one unplugged pipe, no vacuum, the injector pump relies on the vacuum system and if it doesn't work then not enough fuel delivery, engine can't rev high. Also if the fuel rail is leaking or if the fuel filter is clogged then engine won't rev high.

What is it rail oil pressure

The common rail is a pipe - rail - that supplies diesel fuel under high pressure to the injectors, which are activated by the on board computer.
The rail pressure is supplied by an oil pump separate from the pump that supplies oil to the moving parts of the engine. Rail oil pressure is that pressure that pressurises the fuel.

My hilux wont start i replaced a seal on the pump now wont start got fuel to the pump dose not seam to be getting to the injectors

if this is a diesel L or L2 engine chances are you've got trapped air in the steel lines from the injection pump to the injectors loosen- but do not remove- the fitting holding the fuel lines to the injector start/crank the engine until fuel spurts out the loose fittings. tighten fittings. start the engine. this will have the engine running if the problem is trapped air.

usual problem ,valves in injector worn for the fuel pump.easy quick fix this one ,fit a non return valve in the inlet pipe,check flow direction on valve when fitting and evan better as well is another in the bleed off return pipe .valves available from a motor factor or a specialist garage like bosch or lucas ,cut pipe and fit the valve with a piece of rubber pipe to connect the valve in line.or listen to the people who want to milk the golden cow and have the whole injector pump overhauled .

Toyota hilux no fuel to injectors

im not sure on that particular vehicle but most trucks have a fuel pump shut off if the vehicle gets hit or is jarred real hard look in your book for the fuel pump reset button it is a inertia switch
