Firsdt check the radiator cap thats it tight , then check for any anti freeze visible on the engine, then check under the car for any leaks. Is the smell of anti freeze inside the car ? , check the heater core you may have a leak there. the newer heater cores are aluminum and certain anti freezes, are extra acidic , which causes the anti freeze to eat at the heater core causing leaks, it maybe be a pin hole leak in the heater core ,causing the smell.

It also may be at the heater hose connection, sometimes the hoses will swell and the engine vibrations will cause it to crack over time. This is why it needs to be serviced and checked, if it starts leaking real badly it could blow the engine, If it stars leaking worse it could go all at once and you would not know it until you ruined the engine.

YOU HAVE A HEATER CORE LEAKING. CHECK THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR BOARD FOR COOLANT, AND PULL THE CARPET BACK TOO.

If you are experiencing coolant loss along with the odor, it is probably your heater core leaking.

I have a 2001 chevy blazer 4wd when driving my vehicle I start to smell as if my car is starting to overheat my gages are showing normal and there are no visible signs of overheating my windshield and

If you smell steam/water/antifreeze inside the vehicle, then most likely you have a heater core issue. If it is more 'overheating' smell outside of the vehicle, it could be overflow container leaking on hot parts, leaking hose, radiator leak, etc.

Why does the interior of my car smell like antifreeze when I put the mode selector control to panel?

You may have a leak in your heater core, or the line going to or from it.

The inside front window is getting clouded and there's a antifreeze smell

Sounds like the heater core is leaking. Locate where it is and see if antifreeze is leaking out the bottom.

Cabin smells when heat or defroster is on

What your smelling is most likely coolant (antifreeze). You may have a heater core leak. If you dont smell the same smell after running the A/C or just vented cool air from outside for a few minutes then that is your problem.

Wasn't no problem with untel i replace my water pump. as i finish the water pump job i turn the truck on and feel it up with antifreez and at same time i turn the heat on and smell of entifreez comes out...

You have an antifreeze leak. Probably in the heater core (a small radiator inside of the dashboard that heats the air as it passes through). When the engine is running do you see any steam around the engine? Or smell the sweet antifreeze smell around the engine? If not then it is probably the heater core instead of a hose or somewhere on the engine. Does this truck have the option to switch the heater to recirculate he air inside the cab instead of drawing in outside air? If it does then you can set it to recirculate the air inside and if it still has the smell then its definitely the heater core. Often with a leaking heater core the passenger side floor and firewall area will get wet, but not always.

Antifreeze smell and smoke coming out of vents

You have a coolant leak most likely in the heater core. Try disconnecting your heater hoses and coupling them together, then running the engine to see if the leak goes away. If it does, I would have the heater core replaced.

Antifreeze smell

If u smell the antifreeze inside the car, the heater core needs to be replaced most likely. It is leaking inside, and will get worse, to the point of 'fogging up' the windows inside.
