Which fuse is for the interior lights on a 2001 Mercury Sable LS?

SOURCE: my 2001 sable power windows and interior lights

There are 3 general location to most cars for the fuse box. The left side of dash behind a cover, underneath the dash just to the left of the steering wheel, or behind the glove box. It sounds to me that more than likely it's your fuses that went out.

the numbers are on the keyless module in the trunk, it is a paper tag

Those are in the owners manual, if you don't have one you can look it up on the Mercury website
