Check oil level, if lower than what is on the stick after you wipe it clean and reinsert..add oil accordingly

My oil light keeps coming on. I switch off while driving goes comes on again. For the past 3 days stays off

Greetings John, the new sensor may very well be the problem. Quite a few newer cars also have a "counter" based on mileage and may temporarily flash the oil warning light on (usually when starting the vehicle) to indicate that an oil change is coming due.

I hope that helps.

Oil light flashing and beeps. it only comes on after driving a min or two

Make sure there is enough oil in it! This is the main reason the oil light comes on flashing and beeping. Possibly a faulty oil sensor if the oil level id fine.

I just got an oil change in my 2003 vw jetta. The next day my oil light started flashing and beeping and won't stop. Should I be worried??

yes- check your oil level - sounds like they didn't fill completely or something is loose and leaking oil out

Check engine light flashing, engine bogging down and cutting out on acceleration. Car running great no sign of problems until the sudden lose of power when accelerating. Felt like it was going to cut off...

it could be a lot of things.. but if you smelled something burning then you may have already done damage to your car. id have it towed to a dealer.

The oil light keeps flashing with a beep beep sound. i changed the oil pressure switch and the problem still continues.

DON'T DRIVE IT !!!! DON'T START IT AGAIN UNTIL YOU PUT A TEST GAUGE ON IT. you MUST have a gauge put on it to check for pressure. flashing and beep beep mean no pressure... not good. explain in detail how/when this happened ??
