White smoke is usually indicative of a blown head gasket. Usually if you have blue smoke it's oil......If you have white smoke and possibly a "sweet" smell to it, that's normally coolant.
If it's coming out of your vents then I'd say you need new gaskets now. What's happened is the gasket blew out so bad that the smoke made it's way through the vent system, it's also coming from under your hood I bet giving my past experience with this.
Definitely new head gaskets to fix this though.
A little is to be expected when first starting an engine.
White smoke coming out the tailpipe more than just a little at start up means is that your engine is burning antifreeze. Usually a head gasket leak, cracked head or cracked block.
I know this is not good news but please don't "shoot" the messenger. I answered this question so you would not be stuck somewhere with a seized engine. Which is what is going to happen in the near future.
Your choke is working to good, to much fuel not enough air, if smoking after engine is at normal engine temp.you need to have coolant temp. sensor or your map sensor check, both act like a choke, you'll need to do a computer scan, also have engine check for a miss fire, well also cause a rich problem.
Could be an incorrect refrigerant charge or defective pressure switch causing the evaporator to freeze and the air flow over it is causing the ice to melt and the resulting white smoke is condensation
