If it only happens when hot it could be a bad starter drawing too much amperage only when hot or it could be a fuel pump problem again only when hot. to know which, when it happens have a cranking test done to see if the starter is the problem or the battery is in bad shape. if these are good have the fuel pressure tested with a gauge.
SOURCE: Hard starting hot or cold. Battery and starter are fine.
check fuel pump relay/should run pump for two sec when key is turned on. try turning key on but dont crank did pump hum/if it did look towards leaky fuel inj./faulty pressure reg. poss clogged fuel filt.

i have had the same problem.the solution is the fuel pump! i know you got pressure and it runs so how can it be the fuel pump? the pump is losing its prime you are getting pressure just no volume thats why its crank off crank off the system is priming itself again kinda like a weedeater or similar motor fuel is there just not enough of it to the injector To check this hook a pressure gauge turn on key turn off key release fuel should be plenty but if tis just a few drops thats it hope this helps

You're getting a condition known as "vapor lock" or hydrostatic lock. This happens when you run your fule lines too close to a heat source (exhaust, engine, etc). You can solve it by re-routing it away from those heat sopurces...this should help.
SOURCE: Hard starting when cold ( engine cranks normally )
see if your engine has a ECT sensor (temp sensor that delivers information to your ECM) they are installed on the intake side of the cylinder head, it usually has 2 cables, have it checked replace if necesary
