Where is the eec relay located on a 2002 Lincoln navigate

What do you think a EEC relay is ?
Electronic
Engine
Control

It is the relay that sends power to the PCM (computer). Try swapping the relay with another one in the fuse box and go from there.

But on your vehicle it's not called that , it's PCM power relay . It's located in the under hood fuse / relay box .

Blowes the pcm fuse when key turn on

Hi, if you have the 4-cylinder, only the PCM and the ignition is on this fuse. If you have the V-6, the camshaft and crankshaft sensors are also on it. What I recommend is to disconnect everything on the fuse except the PCM, and then turn the key on. If the fuse blows, you know your PCM is shorted. If it doesn't blow, reconnect the ignition module and turn the key on again. If the fuse blows, you know the ignition is bad. If not, plug in the sensors one at a time to see which one is shorted. The location of the sensors are shown below, but there are 2 possible locations for the crankshaft sensor. The ignition module is under the coil pack. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

  1. Measure voltage between ECM/PCM connector terminals A1 and A24, 30 seconds after the ignition switch is turned ON (II).
Is there battery voltage?

YES - Update the ECM/PCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good ECM/PCM, then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good ECM/PCM, replace the original ECM/PCM.

Is there battery voltage?

YES - Update the ECM/PCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good ECM/PCM, then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good ECM/PCM, replace the original ECM/PCM.

NO - Repair open or short in the wire between the A/F Sensor (Sensor 1) and ECM/PCM (A1).

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  2. Disconnect the ECM/PCM connector A (31P) and the A/F Sensor (Sensor 1) 4P connector.
94729650

  1. Check for continuity between the A/F Sensor (Sensor 1) 4P connector terminal No.3 and body ground.
Is there continuity?

YES - Repair short in the wire between the A/F Sensor relay, A/F Sensor (Sensor 1) and ECM/PCM (A22).

NO - Go to step 13.

  1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
94729651

  1. Measure voltage between ECM/PCM connector terminals E8 and A24.
Is there battery voltage?

YES - Repair open in the wire between the ECM/PCM (A22) and the A/F Sensor (Sensor 1).

NO - Go to step 15.

  1. Check for continuity in the wires between the A/F Sensor and the fuses.
Is there continuity?

Where is the PCM on a 98 plymouth voyager located

The pcm is located on the drivers side in behind the fuse/relay panel against the fenderwell. You will have to remove the screws holding the fuse/relay panel, and move it out of the way to get to the pcm if you decide to remove it. Make sure to disconnect the negative cable from the battery first before you do any type of work. Also make sure to ground yourself to the van body before you handle it. Without doing this will damage the pcm, (static electricity). hope this will help you.

Pcm or computer fuse location, where is this fuse so I can check to see if blown?

It should be in the under hood fuse box with a PCM protection diode and PCM relay. Is your truck light duty, super duty, gas or diesel?
