Driver window controller defective. Remote key battery went band. Key, with new battery, stuck in switch, car will not start - immobilized. How fix?

Need reprogram the computer..new remote battery key also. Immobilizer computer need. But sometimes need pass code only the dealer have the codes.

Normally you have to sync the remote to the car when you change the battery.
You should be able to lock and unlock the driver's door and disable the alarm with the key.

First of all you need to programm all ignition keys using suitable diagnostic equipment (VAS, VAG-Com) connected to the data link connector of the car.

You have an electronic immobilizer key recognition problem. Now your key chip is not recognized by the transponder antenna fitted on the ignition switch barrel.

Everytime when you had a new key you must programm all available ignition car keys before trying to start the engine with this new key !!!

Use another ignition key that you have, and start the engine.

But did you try howling at the moon with an aluminum-foil cone on your head and turning around 3 times? ;)

It sounds to me like it is time to have your computer systems scanned for fault codes. Most of the immobilizer system "fixes" posted online are temporary at best. (like the 10 minute time-out thing. That only works for certain types of failures when the system does not recognize your key on the first try. Even then, it doesn't fix anything, it only delays the inevitable for a while).

This could be something as simple as a shorted battery cell causing the computers to do crazy things, all the way to a failed control module or bad ignition switch. The only way to find out for sure is to ask the computer system that controls it.

u must put a key to ignition and open a drive door 3 times and press and hold lock button

yes remove the immobilizer unit and then start, then reset the immobilizer unit and connect it back and check if it is working..........
