Code 0708 in Ford Contour 1997

this code indicates a problem with the transmission range selected switch, this switch is on the transmission case where the shift cable attaches, when u select a gear it sends a signal to the computer control that u want lets say Reverse by sensing the range selector switch feedback, replace the switch will most likely cure the code, then clear the code and drive a few miles.

check your fuel injector on number 4, it good to have a compression test to see if it has good compression

first check and see if the fan is comming on when it gets hot if it does and you dont see any white smoke i would replace the radiator.

1443= evap control system canister purge malfunction 0125=tps throttle position sensor voltage lower than expected

Probably the engine sending unit is bad

Cheap fix

buy a new one first it screws in like a pipe plug, on top of the engine near the top radiator hose

Internal Mechanical issue! Take back to the shop that rebuilt it.
By chance did you get a warrenty???

Check the left side of the vehicle for a blown bulb or incorrect bulb in one of the sockets. The fast flash is a signal to tell you something is wrong with that side
