Since you did not tell us what make and model you have, we can only guess.

Some vehicles' oil pressure sensor has a very small orifice leading to the sensing element that has a tendency to clog causing either an erratic or nonexistent oil pressure indication. These sensors also like to fail-

What does the oil beeping light mean?

the flashing, beeping oil light is oil pressure, not level. low oil pressure means that the oil is all there, but its not flowing properly through the engine. dirty oil, a dirty oil filter, heavier than normal weight oil, a failing oil pump- any of these could be the culprit

Flashing top light 2008 vw convertible

Make sure you hear the beep after the top is down. The beep indicates the top is in full resting position. If you don't hold the button until you hear the beep, the light will continue to flash.

Oil light flashing and beeps. it only comes on after driving a min or two

Make sure there is enough oil in it! This is the main reason the oil light comes on flashing and beeping. Possibly a faulty oil sensor if the oil level id fine.

My oil light on my 1999 Volkswagon Passat keeps beeping and flashing constantly. There's plenty of oil and the oil pressure has been checked and is perfect. Even had the sensor replaced thinking it was...

I also had the same problem with my golf, only to discover that the dipstick was cut short that really mesleads the oil level is enough but not.Check or buy new dipstick set and drain engine oil and fill new one.

The oil light keeps flashing with a beep beep sound. i changed the oil pressure switch and the problem still continues.

DON'T DRIVE IT !!!! DON'T START IT AGAIN UNTIL YOU PUT A TEST GAUGE ON IT. you MUST have a gauge put on it to check for pressure. flashing and beep beep mean no pressure... not good. explain in detail how/when this happened ??
