I want to know where the timing marks is on the fiat palio weekend 1600 16v

There is every possibility that there will be valve damage from the valves hitting the piston crown
IF the belt has already snapped the manual will state it the head has to come off for repair
If it hasn't yet snapped and you are in the 60,000miles or 100,000k bracket , have it done to save the extra cost of repairs

its marked on the coil
and on the valve cover
its a wasted spark system.
the coil is marked (if not sub coil)

1 goes to 1 front cylinder spark.
2 goes to 2.
3 to 3
4 to 4 rear spark.
the ecu knows the order but the wires MUST be right.
#1 spark is closest to front engine pulley, (belt side)
#4 is rear.

There are special tools you need to lock the cams in the correct position. Without these it is near impossible to get the valve timing 100% right. These locking plates fit on the opposite ends of the cam boxes from the cam gears and belt by removing the blanks on that end.
I managed to borrow a set and set it up correctly. I then made my own marks on the cam gears for future reference.

IAC or cold start valve? NOT on a 2005.

fiat punto ,1.2 its a valve free engine so it will not bash the valves ,the bottom pulley mark points at teh top ,you will seea corresponding mark and the cam is top left hand side ,you will see another coresponding mark their for the cam on the ally rocker cover

must be located in the damper (front bottom of engine)but first you need the timming pistol

none Fiat engines are free wheeling non interference type design

first let me know year, engine code (or at least typ of engine 1.2, 1.4...). and I will send you picture for timing belt.
and it will (did) bend valves, so you`ll have to remove cilinder head *** well.
