Changed fuel filter and oil had tune up and checked gas cap. replaced idle relay,
IAC, O2s and faulty TCC torque converter clutch solenoids all three can cause this. As said above a dirty throttle body causes this and would be a quick and cheaper first check.
In most cases as mentioned above the IAC can contribute but in your case sounds like your Throttle Control Position Sensor Switch eith er has a bad connection or the switch is bad all together. they are betwen 25 and 40 dollars any parts store stocks it.
Iac motor. idle air control, is dirty. you can try and clean with carb cleaner, of throttle body cleaner. 2 bolts 5/16 dont rip gasket.

Well, that is a matter of opinion. I really prefer every 2500 miles. Your oil becomes contaminated unless FULLY heated up on every use. Oil can last a really long time, but failure in the oiling costs soooo much to repair, I just change more often. Perhaps costs less than a shrink....
