Remove the gas cap to relieve a little pressure first. The fuel filter is under the hood by the driver's side front "shock tower". There are 3 bolts that hold the filter in place and a wrench is needed to remove the two bolts on either end of the fuel filter from the line. You have to remove the air filter hose to grant maximum access. It is a little bit of a pain but very doable at home.

you should never need to change the fuel filter. i would only change it if you have a fuel pump go out. it is under the rear seat just for your information.
My Son has a 95 es300, the amp for it is located under the front passenger seat. The easiest way to access it is to remove the 4 bolts holding the seat down, and remove the seat. Takes about 5 minutes
