What is the wiring diagrams for 2003 Toyota 4runner: with code P2118. how do I measure the voltage from the battery supply voltage applied to the electronic throttle actuator?

Start by checking the ETCS fuse in the engine room fuse box. If it's good, you may have an open circuit between the fuse box and ECM.

code p2118 refers to throttle actuator control (ATC) throttle motor current--range/performance problem===causes--wiring --throttle motor.
check that the wiring connections are clean and tight then replace the ATC unit

Hello, I have a 05 toyota camry that wont go more than 5 miles an hour. is giving me code p2118, I replaced the ETCS fuse, but still doing the same, is there anything else

P2118 Throttle Actuator Control Motor Current. Range performance problem. P2118 sets when the power supply voltage to the throttle actuator motor is out of range. The throttle actuator motor has its own regulated power supply in the PCM. If the supply voltage is less than 4 volts, the system shuts down, the code will set and the MIL will illuminate. The normal operating range for the power supply is 9 to 14 volts. To solve the problem you are having, I set up a pdf with all the instructions including the diagrams to fix your problem. 2003 Toyota 4runner - One headlight went out, tried to troubleshoot by switching the lights, now both don't work. Don't know where the fuse is, so I can't check that.

Check in the bonnet, you'll find the fuse box then follow the inscription on the fuse box cover.

Code p2118

p2118 means low juice battery, recharge the battery or install a new one. however your battery still good (some what) then start the car and let it idle to charge the bat.

normally when you have p2118 you won't be able to accelerate - why Throttle Actuator Control Motor Current Range is too low.

My rear wiper on my 03' 4runner will wipe one time and just get stuck there and do nothing. I've replaced the rear wiper motor and the front/rear wiper switch on the steering wheel already. I've checked all of the fuses all of them are good, Everything else works except for that.Again I have already replaced the switch and rear wiper motor. I have also checked for voltage which is good.
