Robert: According to CarGurus.com: " I agree it may not be your fuel pump. You can access the pump under your back seat, underneath the cloth under there. You will iummediately see the plug and the screws to open the little hatch. My 1986 Camry also has a problem with not getting any fuel and thought it was the fuel pump. turns out I keep blowing my efi fuse so i unplug the power wires to the fuel pump and it still keeps blowing the 51a efi fuse. So we have narrowed it down to being an electrical problem. We think it is a shortage or a bad relay. So do not instantly run out and think it is your fuel pump. If you are blowing fuses unplug the power wires to the fuel pump and try to crank the car if the fuse still blows then it is not a bad pump, if it does not blow then there is a shortage in the wires in your fuel pump. Hope this helps I will let you know exactly what the elctrical problem is in my car once we do a complete run down."

SOURCE: toyota camry 95' fuel pump won't turn on

I would definately check the fuel pump relay, should be located in power distribution box in your vehicle, you may be able to switch it out with a relay of the same type to see if it turns on the fuel pump, but you may need a new fuel pump if this doesn't fix it. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 1995 Toyota Camry fuel problem. Engine turns over

Along with the fuze, there is also a relay in the system. If the relay is defective you will not have any power to the pump. Best to check for current at the pump connector (near or at the fuel tank) with either a test light or volt meter. If you have power, the pump is bad. if not, check the relay and retest.

Hope this helps

Fuel pump fuse blows while under load. 1998 Jeep TJ 4.0 automatic Only blows while driving. F16 is the fuse. Traced all wires from pump, wiggled, jjiggled, squeezed and bent every wire, harness, plug......

Sounds like fuel pump worn and drawing more amps under loaf, find hot wire to pump and amp test. Shoul be between 7 to 17 amps any more and pump due to fail soon. Good luck.

You shift into drive it shuts off

Is that not the problem?

Sounds like it to me

You have a worn out switch in there somewhere

Have to see a wiring diagram & from there you don't even
need the car to test initally, as the diagram would give you the answer

Keeps blowing fuel pump fuse. Why?

This normally happens due to short in the wirings.Or if someone has connected a stereo or some other electrical contrivance to the wiring harness (bundle), either under the dash or under the hood.To confirm this unplug the fuel pump wiring connections and insert new fuse. Then start the car and see,if still the fuse blows then its a short in wiring. But if the fuse does not blows then its faulty fuel pump relay or faulty fuel pump itself. So first replace the fuel pump relay and see,if the fuel still blows then its faulty fuel pump. But if the fuse not blowing then relay was the faulty part. The fuel pump relay located on the fuse box under the hood.---------This troubleshooting tips will help you locate the fault and solve it.-------Thanks.Helpmech.

Toyota Camry Automatic Transmission Jerking Shift

Not likely to be the clutch pack as you dont mention slipping wich is the normal sign of overheated or worn clutch bands. Not sure with your vehicle but 2 methods that control the shift severity are engine vacuum or pump pressure inside the auto. so check balls are a possibility. They are spring loaded to open at a set pressure,or close.Could you check to see if its a vacuum controled and if so its a lot easier to fix as the vacuum control should be outside the trans.
