Here is the explanation from engine-codes.com

P1259 Honda Description
The VTEC system activates the VTEC solenoid valve by command from the powertrain control module (PCM), and it charges/discharges the hydraulic circuit of the VTEC mechanism that is installed in the valve system to switch valve timing between Low and High. The PCM monitors oil pressure conditions in the hydraulic circuit of the VTEC mechanism according to the VTEC oil pressure switch downstream of the VTEC solenoid valve. If there is a disparity between oil pressure condition in the hydraulic circuit that is determined by the PCM command, and the oil pressure condition that is determined by the status of the VTEC oil pressure switch, the system is considered faulty and a DTC is stored.

What is the sump capacity for a .4cyl diesel pregio van series 1.i drained it and put in 4 and a half litres of oil and the dip stick reads just over half/????

from what you say-- you put in 4.5 litres of oil and it is just over 1/2 but you took out 7 litres , that would be just about right as the other 2.5 litres should make it full on the dip stick
there would be a problem if you took out 10 litres of oil but 6 litres filled it to the full line on the dipstick

How to compute kilometers per litre

You would fill up the vehicle, then divide the mileage traveled by the amount of fuel it took to fill the tank again.
So assuming you filled the tank each time, you would divide 609km by 100.4 ltr which is .1648 or 16.49 L/100km
Thats about 40 mpg.

I have a 2000 jeep wrangler, 4.0L 6 cyl. what would be the fluid capacities for the transmission and the transfer case?

If you have the automatic trans it takes 3.8 litres of fluid if doing a service with the filter. If you drain the torque converter (usually only on a tranny swap or new install) it takes 4.7 litres if it is the 30RH tranny and 6.4 litres if it is the 32RH tranny (call the dealer with your vin number to find out which one you have).

If you have a manual trans it takes 2.3 litres.

As for the transfer case there are 4 different transfer cases used that year.

NP242 takes 1.4 litres
NP247 and NP249 take 1.6 litres
NP213 takes 1 litre

Again you can call the dealer with your vin to see what transfer case you have if you don't know.
