SOURCE: Where do I pour the power Steering Fluid?

Pull up on the engine cover. It should pop off with slight force. The power steering fluid reservoir is under it.

SOURCE: where is the oil filter located on a 2006 cts cadillac

There is an aluminum bolt head on top of what looks like a metal can on the top side of the engine. Its near the fill tube and dipstick - drove me crazy, too!

If you have no leaks dont worry about it. Just get it serviced if its time. Alot of cars are this way now. You need to be under the car to drain and fill. My BMW is this way

SOURCE: 04 cts transmission fluid never changed now at

Do nothing if everything seems OK. Drain and refill, but never flush, you will stir up gunk in the pan, if you have hard or sluggish shifts

SOURCE: Need to add transmission fluid in Cadillac CTS

tod34 is correct. The "fill" area of this transmission is located on the transmission itself. It is a fluid leveling plug located low on the main case toward the back of the trans. You must pump the fluid in through that hole. If you are on level ground and the transmission is properly warmed, you should fill the transmission until the fluid level is flush with the bottom of the hole (starts spilling out)

Need to add transmission fluid in Cadillac CTS 2008. How do you do it?

My 2009 CTS4 should be the same as your 2008 CTS. There is no dipstick tube to check or fill the transmission. The check plug is in the bottom of the pan. It loos like a drain plug, but it is not. The fill plug is on the passenger side of the transmission, just above the front of the oil pan. It is a plastic and rubber plug that is pulled straight up.

You'll probably be better off having it checked and filled at a dealer or trans shop.

Dont think you can for this model its a special tool used and only the dealer has this tool ,its to stop you from doing it yourself and create work for the dealer .many europeon vehicles now use this type of filler where its pumped up from underneath and sensor within the box via OBDII tell the operator when to stop filling .Its known as progress
