SOURCE: i have a 2002 mitsubishi

(first check on the passenger side floor alone the fuel line for a reset switch ) then test the pump wiring and fuses, crack the fuel line in the engine bay and crank the engine, making sure you haven't air locked the fuel line. failing all the above remove the plugs and put back the old ones, might be the wrong parts. best of luck.

I put in about half a centimeter too much oil in 2002 lancer oz rally. is this going to be a problem?

90 percent chance no. I would still take the five minutes and drain some from the pan. Won't even have to take the plug all the way out for the little bit.

-Try one more time. When pull out the plug, make sure ground it.
If there is spark shown. It could be the rotor point to the wrong cylinder plug wire.

2002 Lancer OZ Rally...

I had the same problem with my 2003 Lancer OZ. The oil level and pressure were ok. Car was fine with no light when starting. After 10 to 15 mins of driving it would come on when I was stopped. It would go away when I pressed accelerator. Try replacing the Oil Sending Unit. It's about $10 and easy to swap. That was my problem.
