I was driving going up hill and drove over rocky spot got home and parked. I went to leave again to go to store got in car stared it went to put it in gear and it wont move,i tried all gears and it still wont move. Please tell me whats wrong..
Did you check your parking brake? Does the engine rev up when you try to move in gear? When you shift into a forward or reverse gear, does the car feel like it is going into gear or do all gears feel like park? Is it parked on a hill?

1.Check fluid level, and condition of fluid(is it burnt smelling). 2. Make sure cable from shifter to transmission did not break or come off. 3. Get a good mechanic or family member/friend with mechanical ability to help you.
When you say rocky spot, what do you mean? If you mean there were rocks in the roadway, you could have put a small hole in the transmission pan which leaked all the fluid out of it. First thing I would do is check the fluid level on the transmission dipstick and look for leaks on the ground under the car.
