What would stop the fuel from flowing in my Oldsmobile 88 1995

Check Fuel Pump and fuel filter. Filter appears to be clogged and not allowing a free flow of fuel.

set the fuel pressure on the regulator. its in the fuel line in the engine compartment

EGR valve clogged up...Air mass flow system needs cleaning....Change air filter

Did you replace the fuel filter as well as the oil filter ?. If there is a good spark at the plugs it has to be a fuel problem . Check the fuel pressure and flow the flow is most important. if the pressure is high the regulator on the fuel rail may be stuck shut . and there will be no flow on the return line.

check your fuel pressure regulator its location should be on the fuel rail.Pull vacuum hose off regulator if fuel drains out of it then the diaphram is bad. Hope this helps!!

Check your inline fuel filter. If the filter is half full of gunk, some fuel flows but when you start up a hill, there is a call for more fuel from your pump and this additional flow causes the gunk to become packed against your outlet stopping all of the fuel flow.Changing the fuel filter solves this.

CODE PO300 MULTIPLE ENGINE MISFIRE DETECTED CONDITIONS. POSSIBLE CAUSES.WEAK FUEL PUMP.STOPPED UP FUEL FILTER.CHECK FUEL PRESSURE SHOULD BE 41 - 47 PSI. Would try removing the MAF and cleaning it.They make MAF cleaner in a can.If that doesn't work you may need to relace it.I would not run without it.The computer needs to know the amount of air that is flowing to regulate the fuel mixture.

remove fuel tank remove fuel sender out of tank remove fuel filter strainer loosen clamp on pump remove pump. Reverse procedure to install
