If it is not making any cranking sound at all, it is probably a battery problem. Could be loose or corroded terminals. It it still has the original battery, it is probable that the batter is bad.(5 years old) If you can jump start it, take it to a battery place. Be CAREFUL to get the jumper cables on correctly. A reverse connection could be disastrous.

SOURCE: 2005 Dodge Stratus ? Camshaft Position Sensor causing problems (I

I had the same problem with my '05 Stratus SXT 2.4 DOHC. I've replaced the cam pos sensor and it seems to be running fine right now. On the Dodge forums a lot of the guys say that you need to replace the crank pos sensor too. I've bought one of those just in case it comes back again. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Car wont start

It is the battery - you must not have the cables securely placed on the terminals. The same thing happened to me a few months ago.

SOURCE: the car won't start; lights,

Check the starter and the starter relay or fuse. A client of mines car was doing the same thing, it ended up being two issues, the starter not working anymore, and a relay that was bad. If I am not mistaken everything should be labeled in the fuse box under the hood and will tell you where the fuse/ relay is for your vehicle

SOURCE: car won't start, engine locked

You most likely have a failed anti theft system. Go to this link to read about these systems. I have no permanent fix for you, but you might be able to bypass the anti theft parts at the ignition. This might get you going. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

Holden cruze 2011 driving on m4 started loose power engine light on pulled over to see and wouldnt start again what is the problem and i also just put premium unleaded fuel for first time

The 'premium' fuel shouldn't really affect your vehicle especially as it is reasonably new. You will need to find out what has caused the Engine warning light to come on. These means you will need to get it plugged into a diagnostic system or an OBD2 scanner to read for any trouble codes. If you do not have access to one you will have to pay for the scan.
*Note* Get prices from 4 or 5 places as prices can be VERY different.

take it to a parts store and have them pull the codes to see exactly what the problem is. Most places will do this for free

2009 holden cruze sometimes won't start engine cranks twice then goes dead immobilizer icon lights up on dash and hazard lights come on automatically. had scan that suggested key battery needs replacing...

Sounds more like the car battery than the key battery. Did you get the battery tested? you can do a cheap test with a multimeter if you have one. Your car battery should be no lower than 11.9 volts, with 12.5 being ideal. Even this isn't precise until it's load tested however.

Holden cruze manual

Hi If the Holden Dealer is saying your car needs a new battery then I would replace the battery. Now I am not saying that this will cure your problem however if you have a faulty battery then things will go wrong with your car. It is most important that any checks carried out are done with a very healthy battery or this may hinder any diagnosis. The Holden dealer should be able to check for any codes set and record them. Then clear the codes and recheck and compare if your car faults again. Sorry if this all sounds like a waste of time but vehicles are so complex these days it may take one or two trips to a dealer. Alternatively they may come up with the fault straight away after plugging it into a diagnostic computer.
Good luck
