Ford focus 2.0l tdci titanium 55 plate...the car is under boosting,
Have had the DPF removed from downpipe, have had new sensor fitted (F1530145) under inlet manifold, since this has been fitted by a garage (French Auto Solutions) in Newport, South Wales, the car was plugged into diagnostics. This was for the fault above. This first fault (which is the underboosting problem) I have been told by the garage that the DPF has been deleted from the ECU and EGR valve deleted. the engine management light was NOT ON when i took it to the garage, it was just under powering isues. I have plugged the car back into my own diagnostics, which has come back with a fuel additive code. I have disconnected the battery, unplugged the relay under the back seat, left it over half an hour and turned on the lights with ignition key turned to drain power from the ECU. Powered the car back to normal, plugged in diagnostics. It let me delete 3 codes, (the fuel additive code, turbo boost code and engine management code) so could the garage have had the wrong software to fix the boost problem in the first place, telling me the DPF and EGR were deleted in the first place? Please get back to me im pulling my hair out! Thanks

Probably a pin hole leak some where in a rubber type pipe, hose clips may need tightening or your radiator may have been damaged by a stone coming through the grill. You could try getting some one to sit in car and keep revs up on engine until you can see where any steam is coming from, beware steam is very hot. If you find the leak let engine fully cool down before starting any work.
Hi
that sounds extremely dangerous!
I assume you have an electric handbrake mechanism.
Best bet would be to have a diagnostic test carried out to check the speed sensors and brake controller....asap!
White "smoke"? It's probably steam, which is coming from coolant in the comustion chamber. You're most likely looking at a blown head gasket or a cracked head.
Loosen the adjustment bolt on the alternator, remove old belt, fit new one and stretch it slightly with the adjustment of the alternator until you have 2mm of deflection. Tighten up the bolt and take her for a run to charge the battery properly.
