Why is 2009 ford fusion abs light staying on occasionally?

Only 11,200 miles. ABS light may come on and stay on when driven locally but not always.

All warning lights must be taken serious. Even when the light goes on, because the sensor is defect. Ignoring it and not repair this, makes you also get no warning when the system really fails.
Why the light goes on? could be a real error in the ABS system, could be a sensor problem. Impossible to see from here. Please let a tech check what is wrong and don't wait here for an answer like leave it, or remove the bulb, because that would be ridiculous and irresponsible.

Abslight stays on. How to fix? This is a2007trailblazer?

First you need to have EBCM - electronic brake control module check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's . If the light is on there is a code stored . I think most part stores can do this and for free . After you find out what code is stored , looking up that code in service repair information for diagnostic trouble shooting chart would be next step . There are a few codes too.
DTC C0035 or C0040
DTC C0045 or C0050
DTC C0110
DTC C0131
DTC C0161
DTC C0186
DTC C0196
DTC C0201
DTC C0240
DTC C0241 or P0856
DTC C0244 or P1689
DTC C0245
DTC C0283
DTC C0287
DTC C0290 or C0292
DTC C0455
DTC C0550
DTC C0558

Find the code do the diagnostic's , fix the problem , wiring issue's , a sensor , bad module ,what ever it is . The light will go out then . Here is a sample of code discription .
• DTC C0035 Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit
• DTC C0040 Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit

Abs light on

It's likeley that a wheel speed sensor is bad, but to really find out it will be necessary to utilize an OBD-II ABS Brake Scan Tool such one made by Actron which covers 1996 through about 2005 year models of most American makes and models.

This tool will tell you in English what is wrong with the ABS brake system, or at least point to symptoms which can lead to a solution.

2009 ford fusion engine light stays on steady

You just have to disconnect the battery for 1/2 hour. then reconnect and drive for 10 miles so computer can relearn your engine again. It may run rough. You should have the key off when refueling because computer sensed a fuel vapor leak during fueling and turned the light on.

Also, you can always drive with a check engine light on. It just means you are not meeting emissions. Do not drive if it's flashing on and off.

I have a mk1 ford galaxy. there was a broken wire going to one of the front abs sensors. i have re-joined the wire but the abs and brake stop lightr are still own. do i need to get hold of a fualt code...

abs sensor wires are very funny when it comes to just rejoining them as the resistance in the wire is less so abs light may stay on, most earlier fords abs lights will go off after prob is fixed and car is driven, best to go to local garage and get diagnostic done
