What does cruise mean

check cruise fuse under the left side of dash board if it okay then check cruise motor near the left of shock absorb head underhood

The power for the cruise control comes through fuse #14 in the fuse box. From there it goes to the Cruise Control Switch. However, the Cruise Control Module is above the Fuse/Relay box, behind the dash board. Good-Day!

First question is. Does your car have cruise control? It should be on dash board blinker switches. On the driver area.

If the cruise lamp comes on and the cruise does not set i would advise inspecting the cruise cable and make certain it is not broken, if ok the the servo has likely failed.

Sometimes the plastic cog on the side of the throttle body (TB) breaks. This cog is "pulled" by the cruise control accuator's cable.
To check, simply look on the side of the TB and check to see of the cable end has broken free. (The mechanisim is much like the brake cable on a bike)

Check for a relay.

the cruise control has an ECU(electrocic control unit) which enables the car to keep moving considering the load and speed and slops too...so i don't think it should get disturbed by the stereo.. but anyway if it was doing so then you did gud. while your buzzer doesn't work then get the electrical circuits checked and also check if while taking out stereo the sockets were loosened.. :)
