SOURCE: Why can't I manually turn my motor on my 2000 Honda Accord EX V6

Not sure if you mean you want to turn over the engine manually with a wrench.
If so, you can turn it over with a wrench, but first remove the spark plugs.
This is a good way to find TDC or to see if the engine is seized up.
Hope this helps.

Dillon
Did you want to turn over your engine with a wrench by hand or with some kind of wired connection.
If a wired conn, you can connect 12 V to the starter.
With a wrench, remove the plugs and turn it over at the front end of the engine using the shaft nut.

I have a 96 honda accord ex 2.7L v6... single *click* noise

Usually this is caused by bad connection on one of the Battery terminals. First thing to do is remove Bat terminals and clean them thoroughly Also check the connection of the big bat cables to the connector. They have a tendency to corrode and fail. If so new connectors are available at any auto supply.

Set timing on a 1998 accord 3.0 V6?

Before messing with the timing, get your alternator checked out. Supplying the ECU in a V6 Accord (98-02) can cause some of the same problems you've described above. I had some of the same stuff happen in my 2000 EX V6 and it turned out to be an alt/batt combination. I replaced both and had none of the problems (transmission or otherwise) that I experienced.
