Where is Bank 2 sensor 2 located on 08 g6 gt 3.5 v6?

The 1st sensor is located closest to the engine and the last is located at the rear of the exhaust system. Generally, if we are talking about O2 sensors: Sensor 1 = Before Catalytic converter Front (Upstream O2 sensor) Sensor 2 = After Catalytic Converter Rear (Downstream O2 sensor)

H2o bank 2 sensor 1 location

Bank and sensor location. Bank 1 refers to the back of cylinders that contain cylinder #1. Bank two refers to the other bank of cylinders that do not contain cylinder #1. Sensor 1 refers to the upstream O2 sensor or the O2 sensor before the catalytic convertor. Sensor 2 refers to the downstream O2 sensor or the sensor located after the Catalytic convertor. I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions, good luck.

O2 sensor won't stop coming on.. All are replace but the bank2 sensor 2 keeps coming back on.. That sensor was replaced with OEM sensor but it's saying there high voltage as well.. Please help!!

The problem is not the o2 sensor.

-Check for misfire. (some partial fuel is not completly burn, so it go
pass the sensor) Tha's why it keep sending signal.

97 Ford Fairlane Fault Code 52

Hello, What this means is the Bank2 O2 sensor is getting a high reading in its heater circuit. This can mean the wiring to the O2 sensor on Bank2 has rubbed through or the O2 sensor is bad.

To explain, the O2 Sensors have a heating element built into them to make the controls work faster on Startup. Your sensor on Bank2 spot1 is heating way too much. Either the sensor is bad or the wires to it have rubbed through and are touching metal. You need to inspect the wires to the O2 sensor or replace the sensor.

I need to know where the O2 sensor Bank2 position 1 on a 1997 3.3 interpid.

O2 sensor locations break down like this.

The bank refers to which side of the motor. Bank 1 is always the same side of the motor as cylinder number 1. Bank 2 is the other side of the motor.

Sensor refers to before or after the catalytic converter. Sensor 1 is always before the cat and sensor 2 is always after the cat.

So bank 2 Sensor 1 would be the O2 on the passenger side of the motor before the catalytic converter. You should see it threaded into the exhaust manifold.

CODE PO155 BANK2 SENSOR 1 WHERE IS THIS SENSOR LOCATED?

A code P0155 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
* O2 Heater element resistance is high
* Internal short or open in the heater element
* O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance
* open or short to ground in the wiring harness

Possible Solutions:
* Repair short or open or high resistance in wiring harness or harness connectors
* Replace oxygen sensor (cannot repair open or short that occurs internally to sensor)

Oxygen sensors are always numbered like this:
Bank 1 sensor 1
Bank 2 sensor 1
Bank 1 sensor 2
Bank 2 sensor 2

Some manufacturers use a kind of shorthand that reads different, but means the same thing:
Sensor 1/1 or O2s 1/1
Sensor 2/1 or O2s 2/1
Sensor 1/2 or O2s 1/2
Sensor 2/2 or O2s 2/2

Bank 1 is always the side of the engine where cylinder number 1 is located and, of coarse, Bank 2 is the opposite side.
On a 4 cylinder engine, there is only 1 bank and it is always referred to as Bank 1.

Sensor 1 is always the upstream sensor (The one located BEFORE the catalytic converter)
Sensor 2 is always the downstream sensor (the one that is located AFTER the catalytic converter.

Hope helps (remember to rate this).
