If oil level is good than unscrew oil cap and screw it back correctly.
Lean condition due to vacuum leak can cause this problem. Was the air filter checked and maybe the air box was not shut properly and is sucking in air. Look for all connecting hoses on the air intake hose
assembly and make sure they are connected securely. If it is running rough then you should have check engine light on and please let me know the codes. If no codes are present then clean the throttle body which may be sticking. By chance, if for a moment your battery got disconnected then also same rough idle will occur as computer has lost its preset idle position and needs to be relearned the idle setting. Please give me information after all these checks, to help you further. Codes will help a lot to solve your problem.

There would be no reason the oil would make your car run badly unless you way overfilled it or left the plug of and all the oil drained out. Check your oil level. What kind of car is it. What engine, what oil did you use?

I would say it is a coincidence and something else is wrong or you knocked a vacuum line/wire loose.
