Change display from imperial measurement to metric eg mph to km per hour

Hey, all you need to do is change your settings from imperial to metric or metric to imperial.
Your owners manual will have the exact steps on how to perform that, be sure to give that a good read if you haven't yet about 15 minutes and you'll learn a whole lot of cool features you might not have known about your car yet.

why not ask AA?

rates of what, ?
what rate? the money rates or fuel rates.
is this some rental question?
or car spec question?
what are you doing, ? is there a problem

so finding (KM) answer here can be hard.
we still use imperial measures here, (yes, daft)

My Buick has a button on the dash that says ENG / MET This changes everything from Imperial to Metric. Even the speedometer so you have to be careful In Ontario our speed is metric 100 is actually 60 miles per hour but if you push this button to imperial you have to adjust your speed to 60 Our signs are all metric.

To change display to a Metric or English reading, press and hold the RESET & MODE buttons for 3 (three) seconds...Good-Day! It should be listed in your owners manual under driver information center ( DIC )

Why?? anyway look in the handbook as some vehicles are easy to do and others can only be done at the dealers --encrypted software the curse of my life ,come back the old fashioned cars with a starting handle

follow display where speedo mileage is viewed and select english this changes all units from metric to standard

It should be in your owners manual if it can be done.
On some models there is a us-metric button for the display or you can go into settings in the computer and change it there.

Disconnect the battery for 90 seconds, then unplugged the cluster.. Then connect the battery with no cluster.. HVAC display changed to metric...

Re-connected the cluster again, display changes to imperial...

The cluster is what dictates what is displayed. It is metric by-default but a US imperial instrument cluster overrides that.

okay,for one,the odometer doesnt read in miles per hr,it reads miles driven, and two i have no idea if its possible to change the odometer to km traveled,if you're talking about the speedometer,its already there,get a european cluster :p
